In a world of hyper growth and global networks, and with the collective decline of community, faith and traditional family structures, people are more disconnected & lonely than at any other time in history.
One in two people feel alone and of these people their mortality is set to be 8 years shorter than their connected counterparts. We want to reverse the decline and reconnect 1 Million people by 2028.
Three decades of declining empathy levels, skyrocketing levels of burnout, 75% of people claiming disengagement from work and a loneliness epidemic have left us disheartened, disengaged and suffering from a void of innovation & connection. The value of this is equal to 9% of global GDP, or 9 trillion dollars, in lost productivity.
